After listening to radio suffolk this evening i wont be on his back. His mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer in march, shes miles away in Ireland and he cant get to see her. That will affect anyone.

Agreed. A few weeks ago some Town fans gave him really unnecessary abuse on Twitter. Just nasty personal stuff. I’ve been underwhelmed by his performances, but he always come across as a decent, honest pro/bloke. It just hasn’t worked out for him here - he still gives effort.

Come on Mike - you know you will be there again next season on a cold Tuesday night next February at Bristol Rovers... I will remind you of this when we are standing there!

Good to see we haven’t been affected by the break - we’re still predictably sh*t.
Any team who face us must have the easiest tactics - it’s simple, just let us have the ball because we’re soooo f**king slow and predictable. Dozzell’s the only one with one some guile. He needs to be further up the pitch. I would get Downes on for Huws as as possible.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Swindon Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Had a view on the TWTD forum. A number of random starters negative like, as you'd expect. People are right to be disgruntled, we've had ample time to get our sh*t together with the recent cancelation of fixtures. There's no point in berating the manager, it's been done to death more times you could recall. Maybe we can turn this around in the next 45, something has to change.
Is it the motivation, were people too complacent we would beat today's opposition, not enough cohesion in the team or minds elsewhere. There's got to an answer to it. Would like to be in on the changing area and hear was Lambert has to say at the interval. Would like Marcus Evans' take it on it thus far, is he even aware we're in action right now / half-way to another embarrassing score or significant let down.
We're playing one up front ?! Didn't quite realize until now. Get Norwood and Lankester off the bench, revert to two attackers or three would be better and go for it. You know who has to be culpable for defeat if the formation and attitude doesn't change in the second period.

We will bring Norwood on at some point and he’ll pull a muscle within 10 minutes.
Final score 0-3.
If both those predictions come true I’ll start betting on the footy

Re: Ipswich Town vs Swindon Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Huws had a good scoring opportunity but tried to head a ball from behind him when it would have been easier to hit the ball with a left foot volley. Alan Judge a few minutes earlier created a brilliant opportunity for himself and was denied only by brilliant goalkeeping, Judge himself did little wrong.
Swindon have no clean sheets on the road this season, let’s hope it stays that way.
Next goal crucial to both sides but probably more important to us.

Come on, ITFC, FFS!
13-1 in win votes. Let’s not make that negative bstd be correct.

Wasn't expecting to much from this game,No real goal threat, thought the Judge sitter was offside & their goalkeeper did well, looks like Judge is the main scapegoat, theres always one, hopefully second half will be better.
