Useless twats. Now 529 minutes without scoring, losing 3 - 0 to the team with the worst scoring record in the league. Throw in the white towel cook, put these tossers out of our misery!

To be fair Gary, Cook can't be held accountable for the defensive errors tonite, maybe in the team selection but who the hell else do we have, part of me thinks he's actually letting them cut their own throats

Wow. I’m getting my scrotum cut open Thursday morning, abs to be honest I’m looking forward to it more than watching any more ipswich matches this season ...
Utter complete total dross. An embarassment to the club and its history. Sack the lot of them. Play the under 23 and 18 side to the end of the season.

Well I'm not so sure Mike - what the hell do they do in training if they cant score and they cant create and they cant defend? Why pick loanees, why not have a Plan B?
Tonight and last Tuesday are worse than anything I saw under Lambert.
PC talks a good game, but he's far from convinced me he's the right manager for us.

All I will say regarding this bunch is it’s the same squad and it’s had three different managers now , and the outcome has always been the same. So it’s not the manager IMO, it’s these players . this squad. They are rotten to the core and have a losers mentality.
If I was Paul Cook , I would sack them all tonight and play the kids f9r the rest of the season.

That's what I said 3 weeks ago Liz. But he hasnt has he, he's continued to play loanees and players he knows will not be here next season. Like I said earlier, he's not blameless for tonight.hallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:08 pmAll I will say regarding this bunch is it’s the same squad and it’s had three different managers now , and the outcome has always been the same. Re: Northampton Town vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
I haven’t posted on here for a few weeks. To be honest I got bored of the same individuals blaming the same players. We all have our favourites and those we don’t like and you just know who each poster is going to blame before you look.
But I’m with Rossi here. Cook has done nothing. It’s not just results, the performances have been awful. Look at Chambers; he’s had a decent season at right back. Moved back to central defence and doing ok. But then played on the left of a back 3 and struggled - can’t get forward from there and can’t make the pass on his wrong foot, so he’s dropped. And look how those central defenders did today. The decision not to play him probably cost us the game. Playing one up front when our only striker who can play that role is injured... poor management.
I appreciate that our players aren’t great - in was one of the few at the start of the season saying just that, despite others’ insistence that we had the best squad in the league. Cook might - and only might - do better when he can bring in players to play in his desired formation. My is that will be a big striker and lump it long. The players lack confidence. And since Cook arrived, they have got worse.

That’s all I can imagine is happening. They are rubbish, but not this rubbish and inept. They have downed tools and won’t play for him.Bluemike wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:13 pmI genuinely think they are throwing him under the bus mate, I really do.rossi wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 8:53 pmWell I'm not so sure Mike - what the hell do they do in training if they cant score and they cant create and they cant defend? Maybe they are, Mike - maybe for whatever reason they really don't like him. But surely that's even more reason he shouldn't play them?Bluemike wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:13 pmI genuinely think they are throwing him under the bus mate, I really do.rossi wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 8:53 pmWell I'm not so sure Mike - what the hell do they do in training if they cant score and they cant create and they cant defend? There was no INSISTENCE that Ipswich had the best squad.Andym wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:15 pmI haven’t posted on here for a few weeks. But there was INCESSANT reminders that it was said.
You need to get that accurate.

Will be interesting to see how the new owners look at the current situation at the club. They may see it as a case of the players trying to throw PC under the bus or start to have doubts whether he was the right appointment. If they feel he is not the right person to take us forward then it would not surprise me to see them act quickly.

Not sure what you’re saying. I guess it’s a dig at me for saying it more than once. Fair enough. But I don’t think I’m the only one who repeats a point of view. In my defence I’ve never been one to criticise the same individual game after game like some do on here. At least I try to be constructive in what I say and recognise when players I don’t rate have a decent game.
