All credit to the manager for switching the midfield during the break in play.

It’s been coming for a while, it was only a matter of time and will hopefully be the start of a decent run of form.

This should get a good bit of confidence into the team and build a bit of momentum.
Good run of matches to follow this. Only 9 points off second which with 37 games to go is nothing.

Excellent result. I'm walking on air even though it is only Doncaster.

Should have paid more attention to this but you don't know how games are going to unfold. Tried to get commentary but to no avail. I take into consideration the oppositon, who they are, where they are, the whipping boys of the league if you like, but that's not to take nothing away from our own achievement.
Game and opponents came around about the right time, we picked up two kind of encouraging scores and then blitzed who was next in line. Goal difference will steady with this victory but there's still so much work and consistency needed if the team is really to entertain thought of a promotion.
Can't recall last time we won 6 - 0 in a League contest. Was thinking back to 1980 in THAT win but of course it would / must have occurred more recent. All said and done a resounding win, something to lift supporters and a score you couldn't have envisaged. But remaining rational about it and the time ahead. f*ck knows what Ashton's reaction was this time.

Hope your OK Mike and recover soon. Tonight's result must put a smile on your face. Great team effort, not one below par performance, they all stepped up tonight. Hard to pick man of the match, bersants movement, runs and crossing was nice to watch when put out wide. Evan, well obviously a hatrick, bonne again getting in the areas to threaten with the reward of two goals, second particularly good. Burns looked sharp from the start and continued all game. Every one of those 11 great tonight, imagine what it will be like when they gel!

A few of us have been saying for a while that we would give someone a hiding at some point and that we would soar after that. This could be that result.
I'll admit my faith had been dented recently but I'm buzzing now.

Re: League 1 - Ipswich Town vs Doncaster Rovers Preview & Matchday Thread
Having finally got ifollow up and running I must say I really enjoyed that and wasn’t unduly surprised by the result because sooner or later someone was going to cop that sort of defeat against a Town side with so many talented players. I guess the negative fans who still want Cookie out and think he’s a crap manager will focus on the poor opponents tonight but you can only play whoever is front of you. Maybe Morsy was the missing link because he really did make a difference and ooozed class but mote important lifted the players around him with his class performance.
As Barmy says, Onwards & Uowards, lets enjoy the ride.

The one thing I want to point out to all you Celina doubters, I knew he would be good for Ipswich once he's got game time under his belt, and don't forget he's had surveys on his ticker with no game time in France so he wasn't quite up to speed.
But I knew once Morsy was playing Besant would improve and he will continue to improve, the whole team just needed time to click together and that needed Morsy to steady the ship, and Celina to bring them magic passes.
So never ever doubt what ASH says

Like the Norwood going Stone Cold gif, marko!
6-0
I have never seen Ipswich win a game with that score. Might this be a harbinger of things to come?!
