If that's - and it is - our record for this calendar year in the championship league, then the play-offs at best would seem our best chance of promotion. Maybe it's just a goddamn depressive day intruding on present time, but first I looked at the statistics presented, saw a clear area for improvement.

Yes that is correct. McCarthy hasn't had at his disposal like some other names the means to really build say anything special, and for the last time, we've moved on in the last two years a long way from the unmitigated garbage of Keane and Paul Jewell before it, but we've seen it many times that people have been disgruntled with his way forward and wished for something better. Of course can be approved on, could certainly be hell of a lot worse though. Doubt many managers would be sacked for achieving even greater results considering what little and everything else MM has had to work with. If so, please share names
